Collections and Cash Receipts Specialist - Washington, DC

  • Monitor receivables, aging, and perform collections calls on outstanding customer balances
  • Maximize cash collections through customer contacts, resolution of customer disputes
  • Coordinate collection activities with third party collection agency
  • Respond to and manage customer billing inquiries by telephone, e-mail, and hard copy
  • Generate and distribute dunning letters in accordance with monthly schedules
  • Compile and reconcile cash receipts


  • Minimum 5-year experience in collections & cash receipts, preferably in telecommunications
  • Excellent communication & analytical skills
  • Ability to coordinate and resolve issues across multiple internal organizations
  • Strong Excel, Outlook and Word skills
  • Experience with Great Plains and ticketing systems a plus

Work Environment:

To best support your success, this is an in-office position five days a week, allowing for focused mentorship, training and personal coaching.
